CS4All offers exceptional after school coding classes. This free Coding workshop in New Haven is organized every first Saturday of the month. We ensure the proper availability of all computing accessories and tutors from our end. These workshops will empower the students, and enable them to bring their creative and innovative notions to life.
Coding for grades K-8:
Coding for kindergarteners can strengthen the students to have strong grip from the fundamental level and prepare them for the future digital age.
At the initial level of our K-8 computer science classes, coding works with visuals. Codes are represented by dynamic blocks. It’s a programming language where the instructions are issued by dragging and dropping the blocks. This is known as block coding for kids. At the basic level, we make use of sequencing, patterns, and basic algorithms, which give instructions as a developer to the computer.
Coding for grade 3 – 5:
At an intermediate level of after school coding classes, students can step into more complex projects with the help of loops, conditionals, functions, and debugging.
With our advanced resources and tutor support, we will aid the students in learning the syntax in the programming language, which will help them create loops for every function.
Coding for Grade 6 to 8
In middle school, students can do text-based coding with the help of JavaScript, CSS, and Python. Students will be able to create more complicated projects such as games, websites, and apps.
Coding for elementary students:
In our elementary section, we have light bot, Minecraft education edition, Code combat. Through all these platforms, the students can learn software programming concepts very easily and in a fun way.

As a beginner, block-based coding is easy and fun, but with advancement in time, one should learn text-based coding. Introducing your child to text-based coding, which is the actual coding, is that the syntax of the programming language is like the grammar of a foreign language. The earlier the exposure, the faster they will learn.
